Celebrating PRIDE at Collins Place
Collins Place is now showcasing the beautiful artwork Aglow, created by artist Shannon Novak in celebration of PRIDE.
Come and see the series of installations on display across our retail precinct and at the entrances of our 35 and 55 Collins Street office towers.
Aglow represents the hope, strength, and light created by different communities working together to support each other.
The beautiful installation is on display at Collins Place until the end of June.
About Shannon Novak
Shannon Novak’s work aims to reduce anxiety, depression, and suicide rates for LGBTQI+ communities worldwide. He seeks to dismantle heteronormative structures and systems and build spaces that acknowledge, celebrate, and support diversity and inclusion in sexual orientation, romantic orientation, gender identity, gender expression, and sex characteristics (SROGIESC+).
This manifests as socially engaged and collaborative painting, photography, installation, sculpture, and curatorial practice that may extend beyond traditional exhibition spaces. Novak’s work explores light and dark in the past, present, and future, but ultimately seeks to grow hope for a better world where LGBTQI+ communities can live without fear.
