Celebrating PRIDE at Collins Place

In celebration and support of Pride Month 2025, we’re proud to have partnered with artist Shannon Novak to present With You—a vibrant art series created in collaboration with local LGBTQIA+ communities.

This series celebrates the courage, connection, and resilience of LGBTQIA+ individuals, using bold geometric forms and bright colours to bring to life this year’s Heritage of Pride theme: “Rise Up: Pride in Protest.”

The beautiful installation is on display at Collins Place until the end of June.

About Shannon Novak

Shannon Novak’s work aims to reduce anxiety, depression, and suicide rates for LGBTQI+ communities worldwide. He seeks to dismantle heteronormative structures and systems and build spaces that acknowledge, celebrate, and support diversity and inclusion in sexual orientation, romantic orientation, gender identity, gender expression, and sex characteristics (SROGIESC+).

This manifests as socially engaged and collaborative painting, photography, installation, sculpture, and curatorial practice that may extend beyond traditional exhibition spaces. Novak’s work explores light and dark in the past, present, and future, but ultimately seeks to grow hope for a better world where LGBTQI+ communities can live without fear.
